Hungarian composer György Ránki's (1907 - 1992) most known composition shows almost all of his talent including his exceptionally humorous, witty style.
Serious music, jazz, dance music and folk dance elements are present in this musical comedy with excellent instrumentation providing an entertaining performance.
Andersen's popular fairytale was re-written by Hungarian writer Amy Károlyi.
We recommend the musical comedy for children and adults alike.
